AWARD CRITICISED.
GROCERY WORKERS' PROTEST "STO CONFIDENCE IN COURT." At a well-represented meeting of the Auckland Grocers Shop Managers' and Auckland (irocere Assistants' Unions, which was held in the Lewie Eady Hall last night, the following resolutions were paesed:— "That we protest against the decision of the Court in reference to the award released for grocers' shop managers and grocers' assistants in reference to hour*, wajree and annual holidays. "Further, that a vote of no-confidence be passed on the Second Court of Arbitration owing to the inconsistency, of the Court and the unjust decision given in the grocers' award compared with the recent awards the Second Court has delivered."
