HAMILTON, this clay. A charge of intoxication in charge of a car was preferred against Lindsay Robertson (23), a miner, of Huntly, in the Hamilton Police Court to-day. He pleaded guilty.

Counsel said that the day before the offence defendant's fiancee returned the ring. Instead of finding another young ady, the defendant visited some friends listened in to the Test, and had a fewdrinks.

The defendant was fined £10 and his Jicense was cancelled for a year.
