INTOXICATION CHARGE.

Pleading fruilty, J oe Urlich (42) fpxtaurant proprietor, of Victoria Street' Auckland, was fined £20 and hi* license' «as cancelled for one year in the Police Vourt to-day for being intoxicated in diarge of a car. A fine of 10/ was afco imposed on defendant for speeding. The police stated that a traffic inspector chased Urlich along the Great South Road at fe Rape at a speed of over 70 /niles an hour. When stopped, he was obviously under the influence of liquor The defendant was a better class of Da matran, who often assisted the police rind wae unaccustomed to drinking much
