MINISTERS' WIVES.

PRESBYTERIAN ASSOCIATION.

An enjoyable afternoon was given in George Court and Sons' tearooms recently, when the Presbyterian Ministers Wive»(' Association gave a tea and talk. The table wae colourful in all shades of poppies, and radiators gave a cosy and comfortable touch. The speaker for the afternoon was Mrs. Kenneth Gordon, who gave an address on the Pan-Pacific Conference, held in Vancouver last year. A vote of thanks was conveyed to the speaker by Mrs. Maweon.

Among those present, were: Mrs. Paterson (president), Mre. MeKenzie Black, Mrs. Halliday. Mre. Mawson. Mrs. Rankine. Mre. Hill. Mrs. Bishop. Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Richards, Mre. A. Richards, Mre. Aspland, Mr«. Harris, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Ward, Mrs. Smyth. Mrs. MacDairmid. Mrs. Gilleepie, Mrs. Riddle, Misses Fisher, McKibbon and Masters.
