SNOWBALL DANCE. ATTRACTIVE DECORATIONS. Deft fingers had transformed the Assembly Hall of the Y.W.C'.A. into a fairyland of snow and hancr'uiir nicies for'the "Snowball Dunce - ' held by the Halcyon .Club on Saturday night- A huge snowman —as always, very rotund and with the ago-old, pipe—watched over the scene, but no amount of snowball flinging could freeze the atinosphere. Mrs. E. H. Robinson, president of the olub, received the quests and wore a gown of black floral georgette.
The committee who were responsible for the evening's novel entertainment comprised Mi.ss Averil Solomon, who wore floral rayon; Miss Mary McKay, white sfltin beaute with floral toning; Miss Molly Stanaway, black taffeta; Mi<« Betty Thorpe, floral voile: Miss Iris Paul, powder blue sprijrtred organdie: Miss .Tean Millar, apple green ribbed organdie; and Miss Marion Rarr. Messrs. Owen Probert. Alan Hutton. Lloyd Thiers, James Montgomery and W. Bell. A clever Red Indian dance was given by Miss Athalie McC'arr, a pupil of Mist, Cecil Hall.
