The members of the Y.W.C'.A. Scottish Women (iroiip held their fortnightly meeting recently. In the absence of the president. Mrs. D. Applehy preside<l. The speaker for the evening was Mrs. Hugh Kasper. who gave a graphic description of her trip across to America on the Queen Mary to attend the world conference of the delegates of the Y.W.C.A. Mrs. A. W. Wynes* gave vixal solos. Mr*. Hawke being the accompanist. Mrs. W. MoKenzie. a vi*itor # g» v « two humorous recitations.
