NAZIS IN CANADA.

Inquiry Into Status of Alleged Leader. UNDER ORDERS FROM BERLIN? (Received 2 p.m.) OTTAWA, June 8. The Secretary of State, Mr. Fernand Rinfret, made the announcement that the Government is investigating the naturalisation status of Dr. Egerhard, of Montreal. This is the culmination of the charges made by the Opposition leader, Mr. E. B. Bennett, that Xazi agents are active in Canada. Dr. Egerhard is described as the Canadian Fuehrer. Under the guise of social clubs, Xazis in various centres are alleged to be organising under direct orders from Berlin, intimidating Canadian Germans who refuse to join.
