AID FOR DOMINIONS.
Position in Event of Pacific Conflict. EX-MINISTER'S ASSURANCE. PERTH, June 8. Sir r.eorge Pearce, a former Minister of Defence, speaking on foreign affairs, said: "I am firmly convinced that if war came in the Pacific we would not stand alone. There is no war plan in the British archives that contemplates that dire responsibility.
"Aid will be given, and it will be effective aid," Sir George added. "I had access, as a Federal Minister, to the British defence plans."
