« MISSING HINDU. POLICE SEARCH AT TAHAROA. There is still no trace of the missing Hindu storekeeper, Delu Dasai, who has been missing from Taharoa, near Kawhia, since May 7. The dragging operations and the search of the sand dunes hy the police ptrty # at Taharoa have so far been without success. Considerable trouble has been experienced in dragging the big lake, the bed of which is more thickly covered with weed I than was at first thought. The nine police officers who comprise the search party have settled down to their camp life and the search is being conducted in several directions under the charge of Detective A. J. White, oi Hamilton.
