CHURCHES AND INSTITUTIONS.
Funds of the Church of. England will benefit from the residue of the estate of the late Miss Anna Elena Lodge, after a number of private bequests have been satisfied. For purposes of probate the estate has been valued at under £3000. Miss Lodge died on April 17. The residue of the estate is to be divided equally between the Central Fund of the Diocese of Auckland, the Melanesian Mission Trust Board and the Orphan Home Trust Board for the Church of England Home at Papatoetoei To the Auckland War Memorial Museum Miss Lodge has bequeathed a silver tea urn with a wood and glass case aA a gift from her father, the late William Francis Lodge, and his family. Other gifts are two tapestry pictures and an oil painting for the Auckland Art Gallery,' and a book, "The Royal Irish Rifles, 2nd Battalion," to the Veterans' Home. . •• • A bequest of £200 is provided for the trustees of St. Mary's Homes,! Otahuhti, under the will of Mrs. Edith Seddon, of Mount Eden, who died on. April 21. The total value of the estate . for purposes of probate was estimated j at under £0000. " '
