PAKURANGA HUNT.

MEET AT MANGERE. A GOOD RUN. The Pakuranga Hunt met at the Mangere Pound on Saturday and there were a large number of ridere, including the Governor-General, Viscount Galway, and his four children, while Lady Galway was among the spectators. Hounds were thrown off in Mr. M. Rennie's property and worked through Air. Iv. Montgomery's land on to Mr. Slater's farm, where a hare wae put up, but it eventually ran into barred country, and the hounds had to be called oil'. Two hares were later chopped on Mr. H. Kllett's land on Mr. E. Kllett's farm. Another hare was located on Mr. H. Ellett'e land and a good run ensued. It crossed into Mr. Rennie's place, and into that of Mr. H. Wallace, round the Quarry Mountain and away across the flats nnd back to Mr. Ellett'e land. It then continued through Mr. F. Jones' .place, and on to Mr. W. Paul's farm, where a fresh hare was put up. However, owing to the lateness of the hour the hounds had to be stopped. Some of the Followers.
