DAMAGES CLAIM.
AFTER STREET ACCIDENT. WIDOW SUES FOR £750. General damages amounting to £750 and £119 17/ special damages for injury arising ont of a collision with a motor car are claimed by Mrs. Avis Edwards, widow, of Henderson, against Selwyn Fitzgerald Bradley (Mr. Goldstine), mechanic, of Auckland, in a case being heard in the Supreme Court to-day before Mr. Justice Fair and a jury. Claimant, "or whom Mr. Haigh appeared, was knocked down in Customs Street West on September 2 last by a motor car driven by defendant. She is a farmer and milk vendor, and her case is that she suffered injuries to her back and right hand, as well, as shock, as the result of which she has been unable to carry out the greater part of work she used to do, and has had to hire assistance. Defendant docs not admit negligence. (Proceeding.)
