RO SKILL NOMINATIONS'.

The nomination of Mr. G. C. Munns has been sent forward for consideration as a National party candidate for the Roskill seat, at present held by Mr. A. S. Richards (Labour). Mr. Munns represented the Roskill electorate as a member of the United party from 1928 to 1931, and during that period acted as a Government Whip. Nominations for National party candidates for the electorate close on Monday. Three nominations have been received so far—those of Mr. A. S. Bailey, who headed the list of successful City Council candidates, Mr. T. J. Fleminsr, who contested the seat at the 1935 elections, and Mr. Munns.
