DAISY CHAIN CLUB.

Another enjoyable day was spent in the elubrooms yesterday, with the president,' Mrs. Lord, in the chair. The vice-president, Mrs. Corrin, opened with reading the "Thought for the Day," after which followed an excellent programme arranged by the ladies of the top table. The following items were rendered: — Song, by Mrs. Scholes, accompanied by Mrs. V. Hogg; traditional Maori numbers by Rangi and Hine, and Master Eric Allen in mouth organ items. An endurance toe waltzing competition was won by Mesdames Christie, Wells, Ward and Miss Long, while a "caw" competition was won by Mesdames Collings, Whiteman and Boyce.
