FLOOD DAMAGE.
RELIEF IS SOUGHT. DEPUTATIONS TO MINISTER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NGATEA, Friday. The Minister bf Lands, the Hon. F. Langst'one, visited the Hauraki Plains to-day. This morning he was taken on a tour of inspection of areas damaged by the floods of a fortnight ago. Later deputations from the Hauraki Plains County Council and Drainage Boards waited on him at Ngatea, seeking State relief to meet the heavy damage caused to stopbanks and the drainage system.
