DISTRICT NURSE.

OTAMATEA APPOINTMENT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. Advice lias been received by the chairman of the Kaipara Hospital Board, Mr. r. R. Walden, that the Health Department lias decided to appoint another district nurse with headquarters in the Otamatea County, in addition to Miss McDonald, who is stationed at Dargaville. The appointment would be of great assistance to tlie board, said the chairman. The board had been pressing for the appointment of a nurse for some time. The board is responsible for the transport of the district nurses, and is ordering two new ears—one for Miss McDonald, whose car is due for renewal, and the other for the Otamatea nurse when she takes up her duties.
