RACEHORSE DESTROYED.
FALL ON ROADWAY. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") BLEXHEIM, this day. Free Rose, an aged mare by Arrow-smith from Rapid Rose, owned by Mr. A. Green, of Blenheim, had to be destroyed yesterday as the result of breaking her off fetlock. Free Rose was being led back from the course in company with Silver Fox when a dog ran from behind an einlwinkment on the side of the road. Both h ore its shied and fell, Free Rose receiving the injury •stated.
