WOMAN'S ARREST.

REMAND ON HEAVY BAIL.

Arrested on warrant yesterday afternoon by Constables .7. Xeedham and T. Hughes, a woman named Elaine Cordon Heart, aged 40. later appeared in tlip Police Court, charged, on March :2i!. that being the occupier of premises at .s:>. Shortland Street, she permitted part of such premises to bp used for the purpose of habitual prostitution.

Sub-Inspector Flanagan obtained a remand until April 4.

Accused was granted bail in a suretv of £300.
