CASE ADJOURNED.
ECHO OF RECENT COLLISION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. George Camsey. panel beater, Cornelius McDevitt, labourer, and Maurice Cronin, motor mechanic, appeared in the Police Court to-day ai\d pleaded not guilty to a charge of obstructing the police. Cronin was also charged with driving a truck while intoxicated, and driving without a license.
The case arose out of a collision on the Gonlonton-Hamilton Road on March 12. and subsequent Court proceedings on Ma rcli 14. Cronin admitted driving without a license, but lie pleaded not guilty to the other charges. To-day's hearing was confined to the evidence of Senior Sergeant (!. H. Lambert, who will be leaving for England before the adjourned hearing. The senior sergeant described the happening i u the watchhouse after the accident.
The case 'was adjourned.
