PLAY TO AID PLUNKET.
"Short Story," a comedy by Robert Morley, was presented by the Georgians to a large audience in the Lewis Eady Hall on Saturday night in aid of the funds of the Plunket Society. The takings amounted to about £30.
As Oeorgina, wife of Simon Leigh (Mr. •Tolln Kelsey), a novelist who became infatuated with an American girl (Miss Peggy Beaumont), Miss Ethylwyn Geddes accurately portrayed the tactful woman who retained her husband's love. Lord and Lady Bucktrout were played by Mr. Terry Agmen-Smith and Miss Winifred Kent, who kept the audience constantly amused. Strong support was given by Miss Marjorie Kelsey a« the village spinster, Miss Margaret .Lee as the maid, and Mr. Norman Bilcher as. the A m«rm grodweeay
