RETURNS OF COMPANIES. Argo (West Coast).—3Boz from 12,000 yards in 120 hours. Mataki Junction (Murehison). — 430z from 20,000 yards in 123 hours. White's Electric (West Coast).—39oz in 118 hours. Gillespie's Beach. —70oz ldwt from 16.940 yards in 170 hours. Okiirito.—2Soz lldwt in 118 hours. GOLDEN CROWN CRUSHING. RETURN £33 4/8 PER TON. A report received from Mr. A. A. Adams, manager of the Golden Crown mine (Komata). states that 10 tons of ore have been crushed from the footwall portion of the No. 2 reef at the intermediate level, north of the old Waltekauri Company's workings, with the following result: — Saved by amalgamation. £19 Jo/1 per ton: value sands and slimes. £13 0/7 per ton ; value of ore per ton, £33 4/8. In April. 1935. one ton of ore was taken from this reef at a point 100 ft south of the present fare of this intermediate level. This ton parcel of ore was crushed at the Thames School of Mines and was valued at £43 18/11 per ton. '
