Gillespie's Beach. —70oz ldwt from 16.940 yards in 170 hours. Okiirito.—2Soz lldwt in 118 hours. GOLDEN CROWN CRUSHING. RETURN £33 4/8 PER TON. A report received from Mr. A. A. Adams, manager of the Golden Crown mine (Komata). states that 10 tons of ore have been crushed from the footwall portion of the No. 2 reef at the intermediate level, north of the old Waltekauri Company's workings, with the following result: — Saved by amalgamation. £19 Jo/1 per ton: value sands and slimes. £13 0/7 per ton ; value of ore per ton, £33 4/8. In April. 1935. one ton of ore was taken from this reef at a point 100 ft south of the present fare of this intermediate level. This ton parcel of ore was crushed at the Thames School of Mines and was valued at £43 18/11 per ton. '
