SHEEPSKINS AND HIDES.
WELLINGTON MARKET PRICES. Sheepskins improved slightly, but hides i were easier at the sale held on Friday by the Wellington brokers. Sheepskins.—Competition was keen and in keeping with the recent filming in the tone of the wool market; pricee were from par to Md per lb up on last sale's quotations. Hides. —The demand was somewhat restricted and values for most grades were slightly easier than last sale's quotations. Calfskins, however, showed an improvement of %d per lb. Tallow. —A small offering was submitted and prices were slightly easier.
