Excepting for Heavy ehowere prior to and during the running of the Autumn Handicap, fine weather favoured the conclusion of the Wellington Racing Club's autumn meeting at Trentham to-day. The track was very little affected and the going was good. There was an excellent attendance and the turnover was £70,636, an increase of' £14,709 10/ on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £11*2,258, compared with £84,125, an increase of £28,113, and a fresh record for nn autumn meeting at Trentham, the previous best having been £109,000 in 1925.
