PETROL RESELLERS. CITY TRADERS' ADVANTAGE. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. One of the difficulties of petrol resellers near cities was brought forward by Mr. Sexton (Independent. Franklin) in the House yesterday, when ho asked the Minister of Industries and Commerce whether it is intended to bring in regulations fixing the price of petrol in the Auckland district. Mr. Sexton urged the Minister, if he took action, to refrain from fixing them at a flat rate of 3d a gallon above the wholesale price in nearby districts, but that he would allow these resellers reasonable latitude to meet competition. They were charged from a farthing a gallon upwards for delivery cost, but their present practice was to carry this charge themselves. If they were' compelled to charge more than the Auckland resellers more than haif their business would be transferred to the citv.
