NATIONAL PARTY.

EDEN BRANCH MEETING. There was a "rood attendance at a meeting held under the auspices of the New Zealand National party at tho Church of Christ Hall. Walters Road, last evening, when the electorate district chairman. Mr. G. L. Taylor, presided and introduced Mr. Cecil George, of the .Tnnior League. The latter outlined the democratic policy of the party and pointed to the increasing growth of State Socialism.

A committee wae set up to organise in the district, with Mrs. E. A. Smythe representing the women's interests.
