KENNY TREATMENT.
CONTINUE IN VICTORIA. MELBOURNE, January 6. In spite of the rejection in Queensland of her system of infantile paralysis treatment, Sister Kenny will remain in Melbourne to conduct the clinic for the treatment of infantile paralysis under Government auspices at Hampton. Neither the British Medical Association nor any other organisation in Victoria has placed any obstacle in her way.
The Minister of Health for Victoria. Sir John Harris, has received a letter from Dr. F. H. Mills, of London, supporting the Kenny treatment and declaring it to be a vast improvement on the orthodox svstem.
Dr. Mills adds that her work is under the observation of celebrated London physicians and surgeons, who agree that the method is entirely new. Their report on the system will be available in six weeks' time.
A message from Brisbane says the Queensland Minister of Health, Mr. E. M. Hanlon, referring to the adverse medical report on the Kenny treatment, said the Government was satisfied that the money spent on the Kenny clinics had been well spent.
