LADIES' BOWLING CLUB.

VISITORS ENTERTAINED,

The members of the Edendale Ladies' Bowling Club had the privilege on Wednesday afternoon of entertaining several lady bowlers who are members of the British bowling party at present touring New Zealand. The members of the party, Mesdames McAlpine, Morris, Smith, Reed and Power, were welcomed by Mrs. R. Smith, president of the Edendale Ladies' Bowling Club. Mr. J. Annison also extended a welcome on behalf of the members of the Edendale Bowling Club. Mr. L. C. H. Dawson, a member of the Auckland centre executive, who was accompanied by Mrs. Dawson, also attended. A full rink game was played between Mesdames Morris, Smith, Reed and Power (visitors), 14, and Mesdames Vaughan, Millar, *R. Smith and Gibson (Edendale), 14.
