WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist ieetied to the "Auckland Star this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auokland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate west or southwesterly winds, freshening st times. Weather mainly fair, but aome scattered showers probable, more especially in western areas. Seas alight to moderate. Pressure has rieen somewhat over the north Taaman Sea and northern New Zealand, but a aeries of westerly depressions continue to pass in the south. FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day:— The indications sre for moderate westerly or south-west winde prevailing. There ie a prospect of fair weather. Barometer unetsady. Seas smooth to moderate. HAURAKI GULF CONDITION*. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tlritiri Island at noon WHiajf Wind, south, moderate; sea. SEISK?.' weather, fine and clear; visibility, good; barometer, rising.
