BOY'S FOOT PIERCED.
BROKEN BOTTLE IN GRASS.

THAMES, Tuesday,
While playing in the Karaka Creek a small boy, M. Strange, had his foot pierced by a portion of a broken bottle that had been concealed in the grass. The boy had been swimming with other l>oys and was running along the creek hank when the accident occurred. The glass went right through his foot and had to be removed bv a doctor.
While cycling home to inform hie parents, the boy's younger brother was rendered unconscious when his bicycle capsized. 5
