YOUNG SURGEON'S DEATH.
COLLAPSE ON GOLF COURSE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. The doatli occurred to-day of Dr. David Nathan Eppstein, aged 33 years, a well-known Christchurch surgeon. He was playing this afternoon at the Tenipleton Country Club's golf course when he complained of feeling unwell. He was taken immediately to his home, but collapsed and died on the journey. Dr. Eppstein was born in Wellington and educated at the Auckland Grammar School and Otago Medical School. He studied medicine and surgery in London, where he was resident surgeon in various London hospitals, and attended London University. He was a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and of: the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He leaves ,a widow and one child. '
