RECORD NET PROFIT.
MELBOURNE, December 17.
A record net profit of £453,997 is recorded by Carlton and United Breweries, Limited, compared with £381,653 in the previous year. Dividends on the ordishares and the 7 per cent cumulative participating preference shares have been raised from 10 to 12% per cent and absorb £365,625, leaving £88,370 to be carried to reserve.
