TWO VENDORS FINED.

MILK UNDER STANDARD. Charges of selling milk under standard were brought against two defendants on summons in the Police Court to-day by the Department of Health. An inspector said he purchased a sample of milk from the shop of Isabella Civil 011 October 19, the analysis showing that it was stale milk. Defendant, who did not appear, was fined £1. , A similar fine was imposed by the magistrate on H. C. Heald, whose reason for the milk being low in fat was that lie had 110 agitator. He had sinc.e purchased one, and in future the milk would be kept properly stirred.
