THE SHERIDAN PLAYERS.

A varied and entertaining programme was arranged for the final club evening of the 1937 season held recently in the German Club rooms, when there was a large attendance of members and friands.

1 Songs by Miss Phyllis Cato, Miss Elsie Gaily, Miss Madge Taylor and Mr. John Bond were much enjoyed, and an elocutionary item was presented by Misa M. Wynne.

Three amusing sketches, "Gaspers," "Such is Fame" and "Devastatin'," were given by the following members:—M:sses Merlyn Spooner, Iwa Pearson, Kitty Homer, Nancy Warren, Laurie Young and Mrs. Arawa Hinkley, and Messrs. Philip Jay, Howard Njrwcombe and Jack Spooner. and Misses Cohen and Dunham [appeared in a vluologue, "The Fortune 'Teller."
