BOARD MEMBER'S VIEW.

Mr. E. H. Potter, a member of the Auckland HospiXal Board, who is opposed to the proposed appointments, said this morning that as a result of the discussion with the Minister and his officers the offices of medical superintendent and secretary would be retained. In his opinion the appointment of two stipendiary medioal men would not be justified, as the work was now being carried out efficiently by the honorary staff. /
