FOUNDATION STONE.

MINISTER TO OFFICIATE,

The Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Kraser, will officiate at the laying of the foundation stone of the new "biology block now under construction at Auckland University College. The ceremony* which will l»e held at the Symonds Street frontage of the building next Monday afternoon, will begin at, 3 p.tn. Presiding will l>e the president of the college, Mr. H. J. D. Mahon, and associated with him will be the Minister, members of the college council, members of the professorial board, deans of the various faculties, the architect, Mr. R. A. Lippincott, and the registrar, Mr. L. O. Desborough. Short addresses will be given by Mr. Mahon, Professor H. Belshaw and Mr. W. R. McGregor, dean of the faculty of science.
