FARMERS CONCERN.

(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.)

WHANGAREI, this day.

Serious effects on the primary industries of the cotintry as a resuit of an alleged "slowing down" of labour were mentioned by Mr. A. B. Moore, chairman of the Whangarei Sub-provincial Executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday. "We have been very adversely affected by various restrictions," he Mid. "There is now trouble on the waterfront, and, although we believe there has been fault on both aides, we must strongly support any demands for the proper and full use of the valuable, equipment at the wharves. We must see that the wateraiders get fair condition* and that, in response, they use their equipment fully."
