NEW ZEALAND TOURNEY.
DUNEDIN NEXT YEAR. BALMACKWAN LINKS CHOSEN. (By Telegraph.-- I , rrss Association.) DINEDIN, Monday. A decision to hold the next New /.inland golf championships at the Bulmituewan links was reached at a meeting o£ the New Zealand Golf Council in Wellington to-day. The Otago Club lias been asked to nominate a date for the meeting;, which will probably l>c held early in November. In anticipation of the holding t>l the Dominion championships In Duncilin, the club has recently embarked upon substantial expenditure on improvements to the course, which should provide a good test of the ability of the players who will he present from nil parts of New Zealand. The last occasion on which the New Zealand championships were held in Dunedin wns in 1928. S. Morpeth won the open championship. T. 11. Ilortoti the amateur championship and A. J. Shaw the professional title.
ORAKEFS PRIZE-GIVING,
Mixed Canadian foursomes wore played over 12 holes on the cloning day of the Orakei Club's season. The best gross score. was if-turned by Miss P. Andrews and G. M. Ahfeld with a card of r>4 and the best net score by Mrs. C. Ueverson ami G. Farrant, 57—14—43.

K Israel • runner-up. Mrs. K. Fimllay : president's cup, Miss M. Graham; Hardman Cup. Miss M. Graham : runner-up, Mrs. G. linpey • Mrs. (Joldwafer's trophy fputting). Mrs. I). Crais; silver medal. Miss B Tulloch: bronze medal. Miss D., Andrews : putting competition, closing day—three best cards Mrs. A. Rossiter; l>est card, Mrs B Goldwater.
