DTJNEDIN, this day

As the result of bis ear colliding with the pillar of a safety aone near Rattray Street shortly, after midnight, Mr. Joseph Reginald Wileon, aged 35, of Timaru, euffered injuries which caused his death a few minutes after he had been extricated from the wreckage.

Mr. Wilson, who was a commercial traveller, was alone in the car. The whole front of the ear was shattered.
