BRIDGE AND MAH JONG.
PARTY FOR FUNDS. A bridge and mah jong evening to aid the funds of the Ist Devonport Guide Company was held by a committee member, Mrs. W. J. Lyon, last week at her home in Mays Street. Bowls of Iceland poppies, honeysuckle and sweet peas decorated the drawing room. Among those present were: Mesdames Humphrey Steward, Tony Coole, Lawson, J. B. Crawford, Burgess, Crosher, Williams, Perceval, Bremner, Sullivan, Boyne, Graham Watts, Dunsford, Gough, M. Kirkwood, H. Hayward, M. Clowes, ! Hoyte, Hughes, A. M. Segar, S. WynI yard, Foster, A. Griffith, T. Fitzwilliam, jwatt, Misses Molly Davey, Dorothy Lyon and Blair Mason. ' The prizewinners were Mesdames j Dunsford, Crosher, M. Clowes and Mr. I Lawson.
