BRITISH CAPTIVES
FRANCO TO RELEASE SHIPS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 11. General Franco has notified Whitehall that the insurgents will release captured British merchant ships. The Australian Associated Press diplomatic correspondent understands that this signifies completion of the agreement for mutual exchange of agents.
ARAGON FIGHTING.
LOYALISTS CLAIM SUCCESS. BARCELONA, November 11. The Government claims to have taken insurgent positions at Ellano, Aragon, when the rebels were driven back in disorder. Many abandoned their arms. They evacuated an important hill position. The insurgents, however, captured several trenches near Barbastro.
