MOREINSVIIXE PURCHASES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORRIXSVILLE, this day. The Morrinsville Borough Council has been advised that the State Housing Department intends purchasing 22 sections in Morrinsville. Xone of these sections is in the sewerage area of the town. The plan of proposed subdivisions of various paddocks in Coronation Road. George Street, Victoria Avenue and Strathmore Street was submitted by the Housing Department at last evening's meeting of the council and approved. Building permits for work estimated to cost £5339 were issued during October. This brings the total for the seven months since April 1 up to £22,693. More than half the months' total was represented by the cost of a new store and offices for the Farmers"« Co-operative Auctioneering Company.
