SPRING SALE.
A successful spring sale was opened at Waterview Methodist Church by "Aunt Jean," of radio fame, who contributed solos. A bouquet was presented to her by Lucille Rush. Competitions were won as follows:—Sponge sandwich, Mrs. Maudsley; scones, Mrs. Kershaw 1, Mrs. Bonnie 2. Children, girls 10 to I' 2 years: Best dressed doll, Enid Riley 1, Rona Reynolds 2; eight to ten years, Shirley Knight 1. Shirley Reynolds 2; match-box woiic, Lois Knight" 1, Doris Keen 2. Prizes were presented l>y Miss Roberts. Mrs. Woodward and Miss Roberts acte& as Judges.
