HALLOWE'EN PARTY.
The St. Andrew's Society ladies' auxiliary, held a successful Hallowe'en party yesterday afternoon in the Fabian Club rooms. The rooms were gaily decorated with lanterns and black cate, and members of the committee were disguised as witchcH. Mrs. J. K. Black, •1.P., presided, and extended a welcome to member* and visitors, who were present from Scotland, Australia, Wellington and Xew Plymouth.
An enjoyable programme comprised Scottish songs by Mrs. E. McKnight and Mrs, Scott, and Scottish reading* by Mrs, (J. Hill. An impromptu Hallowe'en sketch was given by members of the committee. An interesting competition *»s aleo enjoyed.
