OBITUARY.
REV. WILLIAM JAMES GOW,
One of the early ministers of the Presbyterian Church in Xew Zealand the Rev. vA illiam James Cow lias died, at Papatoetoe in his 85th year. He was ordained in ISB7 and at the time of his death was minister emeritus of the Church. Mr. Cow was a son of the Rev. J. Cow, of Hokitika, who also was a pioneer of the Presbyterian Church and a brother of Mr. J. B. Cow, a well-known settler in the Opotiki district.
The Rev. W. Gow serve<l at a number of places in Xew Zealand, his last charge being Cambridge from which he retired. He was twice married, his second wife heing a sister of the late Rt. Hon. W. F. Masse v.
