LATE NEWS.
LIME KILN DESTROYED. The Koitcrangi lime kiln building and plant were practically destroyed by fire last night. The insurance on the building and plant was £200, in the Guardian Assurance Office. ANNUAL STEEPLECHASES, The senior event in the Technical College annual steeplechases, the only one conducted on a handicap basis, resulted :— J. O'Hara (Binns) (253 1 R. Melhcse (Hindtey) (355) 2 E. Richardson (Seddon) (1.50) 3 Time, 20.20. Fastest time was made by O'Hara, who finished strongly to win by TSyds.
