SOCIAL GATHERING.

Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Pearson, of Grange Road, Mount Eden, entertained a number of friends at their residence on Saturday evening. The entertainment included a treasure bunt, games and dancing to excellent music, and Miss P. Boyle rendered some vocal items. The lounge was colourful in its decorations of festoons of ribbons and balloons. Summer flower* were artistically arranged in the various rooms and on the supper tables were tulips. Mrs. Pearson received the guests in a lisrht brown floral crepe de chine. Miss Patricia Pearson wore a black taffeta frock. Among the guests were: Misses Ivo Pearson, Peggy Crosher, Joy Somerville, Shirley Kyle. June Goodman, Peggv Miller. Eileen Spring. Joan Skeats, Sonia Parkes. A. Parks. Dorothy Parker, Pat Boyle, Mignonne Lock.
