Rodwell, president of the Lecturers' Association, etated that in the opinion of! the association it wae of the utmost importance for lecturers to go overseas to keep in touch with the latest developments in their subjects. The association also considered it desirable that a uniform echeme of extra remuneration for lecturers acting as department heads should be set up.
