GIFT EVENING.
A happy gift evening was given by Miss Marie Corner for Miss Kath. O'Brien, of Devonport, who is shortly to be married. The guest of honour was presented with a quaint Victorian posy made of all first-aid requisites and an electric toaster. Trump whiat was played, and those present included Misses Joyce and Ina Audley, Joan Best, Betty Weir, Joyce Bloss, Gooding, Betty and Joy Middleton, Peggy Trayes, Girtie Morrison, Marie Rollo, Moira Mowbray and lima Cornes.
