THE FARMER'S INCOME.
Mr. Endean says that the people of Xeu Zealand are becoming slaves. Since the pre-en; Government came into office (he farmer"-' yearly income has practically doubled itse'f. thus enabling him to pay his employees a decent wage, which was beyond hjs power *" do when the National Government wa- in office. Apparently Mr. Endean expect- the Labour Government to put everything i-n t n a set footing in its rim two years of office. But the reign of the last Government was <-.>nsiderably longer than the (.resent Government and we can see nothing for its long re ism in office. We are certainly better oft*""since the present Government came into otlice. i I'AIIMKR.
