SUMMER UNIFORMS.

FOR USE BY TRAMWAY MEN. When the weather in Auckland becomes warmer members of the Auckland Transport Board's traffic staff will be issued with summer uniforms consisting of a neat blue shirt and sports .trousers to match. The uniforms were actually made last year, but not issued because the weather conditions were such that tramway men did not feel the necessity to change from their ordinary uniforms. It will be recalled that the board first issued summer uniforms two seasons ago, the men being issued with light blue tunics. There was considerable criticism of this type of summer wear, and it was discarded.
